Today has been a very exciting day! This morning, Charity and I went to STA travel to book all of the trips we wanted to go on. Here's a list of what we'll be doing this semester:
March 20-22: Melbourne. On March 21st we are going on a Great Ocean Road day tour- highlights include Bells Beach and the 12 Apostles rock formations (pictured above).
April 12-17: Trip to the Outback with IES. A description of the trip can be found in one of my first blog posts, but highlights include a hike of Uluru Rock, a sunset camel ride, and hopefully a hot air balloon ride!
May 2-10: NEW ZEALAND. Charity and I are doing a 7-day Southern Explorer Tour of the South Island. Highlights include hiking Fox Glacier, numerous Queenstown activities,
Milford Sound, and Lake OhauJune 8-11: Cairns/Great Barrier Reef. Charity and I are going on a day tour of Cape Tribulation, Daintree Rainforest, and the Mossman Gorge. The next day we are going on a full-day snorkeling trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
I am beyond excited for all of these trips. I can now say that I am going to get to see everything that I had really hoped for while I was here- and all for a really decent price! It is giving me something to look forward to, making being away from home a bit easier.
