Here Goes Nothin

Well, I leave for Sydney in a little over 24 hours! It has been a long, and at times frustrating road to get here, but it is finally here. I can say that I am feeling both nervous and excited.

On Saturday my cousin Melanie planned a surprise going away party for me. All of my mom's side of the family was there - and I was truly surprised! Even Nate drove down from Michigan to be there. I had a really great time and it was so nice to see everyone before I leave. Thank you again, Mel! As a gift, Mel gave me a kangaroo dressed in full USA attire. My job is to take pictures of him around Australia (though I'll tone down his outfit) and buy him a new wardrobe. It is a fun idea and I'm looking forward to taking lots of goofy pictures with Roo and baby :)

I will be arriving in Sydney at 8:05AM Saturday, which is roughly 4:05PM Friday, Cleveland time.

Anyways, I should probably get back to my least favorite activity - packing! I hope to post pictures once I get settled in Sydney :)
